I was born in south NJ, USA. At age 5, I developed rheumatoid arthritis. The arthritis went into remission after about a year, but then came back when I was 9 and I have it (or the after effects) ever since. Thanks to the arthritis I have had both hips, knees and shoulders replaced. I've also had the raidial head of my left elbow taken off. Even with the arthritis (or maybe because of, or in spite of) I am an very independent person. I have a job, own my home and get around reasonably well. While I won't be climbing any mountains anytime soon, I try to stay as active as I can. |

I like to watch TV and movies. Some of my favorite TV shows are: The Simpsons, Lost, 24, Scrubs, and The Daily Show. I enjoy watching sports of all kinds on TV and in person. I am a fan of all the Philadelphia sports teams. I like to read, especially mysteries and non-fiction. Patricia Cornwell is a favorite, as is Jeffery Deaver. I like to surf the net and play games on my computer. A great time for me is hanging out with friends, talking and playing games. I love to play cards (poker, hearts, euchre, gin rummy) as well as board games. I am especially a fan of the board game Settlers of Catan. I also like to drive around and explore backroads. I am into history, especially US history, but not limited to that. I'm the kind of person who likes to see the historic sites on vacation. But I like a good amusement park too! I have a warped, sarcastic sense of humor and enjoy debating the issues of the day with people. |
